B.A. Languages; B.A. Hons. Languages; B. Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Completed Basic Paediatric Course in 2000 and qualified as Speech Tutor in 2005. Currently completing a Masters degree in AAC at Stellenbosch University.

Worked at Child Guidance Clinic in Welkom after graduating followed by a position at Tembaletu School for Children with Physical Disabilities in Guguletu, Cape Town for three years. Joined Stellenbosch University as lecturer and clinical programme coordinator in the Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences, Division of Speech-Language and Hearing Therapy in 2001. Is responsible for teaching modules and supervising paediatric and adult neurology clinics and research projects in the fields of AAC and paediatric neurology.
Assessment and treatment of paediatric feeding, swallowing, communication disorders, research, inter- and trans-disciplinary teamwork.
Corneli enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies and cooking.
