DESCRIPTION:<h3>HURRY, ONLY 2 SPACES LEFT!</h3>\n<h3></h3>\n<h3><strong>Application forms:  Please contact sandtaegy24@gmail.com</strong></h3>\nThis multidisciplinary post-graduate course covers the assessment and treatment of children with cerebral palsy/cerebral motor disturbances, presented under the auspices of the South African Neurodevelopmental Therapy Association.\n\n<strong>COURSE Presented by SANDTA tutors</strong>\n\n<strong>WHO CAN APPLY?   </strong>Qualified physiotherapists, occupational- and speech therapists.\n\n<strong><u>COURSE STRUCTURE AND DATES: </u></strong>The course is made up of 3 different blocks, spread over the following timeline with specific dates:\n\n<strong><em><u>BLOCK 1</u></em></strong><strong><u>: Online self-study modules:          </u></strong>\n\n<strong>2 September-29 November 2024(3 months) </strong>(The course material on Neuroscience, Typical Child Development, Classification of CP, and the Bobath Concept will be available online over this 3-month period for participants to study in their own time. This will be interspersed with some evening live Zoom tutorials where certain aspects can be clarified)\n\n<strong><em><u>No </u></em></strong><em><u>leave from work required for this section<strong>.</strong></u></em>\n\n<strong><em><u>BLOCK 2</u></em></strong><strong><u>: Live Zoom classrooms:</u></strong>\n\nThis block consists of different modules spread over different dates and will be in the form of virtual Zoom classrooms. It will cover movement analysis, a problem-solving approach to the treatment and management of individuals with CP, as well as relevant aspects of occupational therapy and speech therapy. These live online classes will be in the form of lectures, video recordings and group discussions)\n\nNote the different dates:\n\n<strong>Late JAN 2025 </strong>(3 days), <strong>Early FEB 2025 </strong>(3 days), <strong>12-15 Late FEB 2025 </strong>(4 days) from 8am – 4 pm\n\n<em><u>Leave from work <strong>will be required</strong> for the dates above.</u></em>\n\n<strong><em><u>BLOCK 3</u></em></strong><strong><u>: Practical / clinical modules</u></strong><strong>:</strong> (on site)\n\n<strong>10 MARCH-26 MARCH 2025 </strong>\n\n(Friday 14 and 21 March being rest days)\n\n9am - 5pm (participants will be taught and practice handling and management and will do supervised clinical sessions assessing and treating children with cerebral palsy.)\n\nThis practical face-to-face block will take place in <strong>Alexandria Egypt </strong>and venue will be confirmed.\n\n<em><u>Leave from work required for these 3 weeks.</u></em>\n\n<strong><u>COURSE </u></strong><strong><u>FEE:  $2500.00</u></strong>\n\n<strong> </strong>\n\n<strong>Application forms:  Contact sandtaegy24@gmail.com</strong>\n\nPlaces for only 24 Participants are available on this course.
